Spicy Hummus


Spicy Hummus is my all-time favorite vegan dip or veggie sandwich spread.  Blend in a little water to desired consistency and enjoy.

Spicy Hummus
Makes 2 cups

Ingredients:
1 can (15 oz.) garbanzo beans, drained
1 large garlic clove, chopped
3 rounded Tbsp. tahini paste (ground sesame paste)
Juice of 1 small lemon
1 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions:
  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor, and blend into a thick spread.
  2. Serve with crackers, veggies, or as a spread in a veggie sandwich.
